It's the teachers at Century Nursery School that make the difference!

 

Century Nursery School has a staff of three teachers.  They work closely together as a team with all twenty students and also break up into groups of one teacher per seven students.

 

And just because our teachers teach, they don't stop learning.  All Century Nursery School teachers actively continue to further their own education through seminars and workshops - all centered on bringing the best care and educational preschool experience to your child. 

 

The teachers at Century Nursery School are accessible and always available to answer your questions or discuss your concerns.  Our teachers are also all certified in first aid, CPR and administering medications.

Patricia Israel - Director/Head Teacher

Pat Israel has been the Director and Head Teacher at Century Nursery School since 1999.  She began working at Century in 1990.  Pat holds an Associates Degree in Business, is a Child Development Associate and has a State of Connecticut Head Teacher Certificate. Pat acts as a mentor to fellow Preschool teachers that are pursing their Child Development Associate.

 

Barbara Cornwell - Teacher

Barbara Cornwell has been a teacher at Century Nursery School since 1999.  She holds a B.S. Degree in Early Childhoold Education and has a State of Connecticut Head Teacher Certificate.

 

Lisa Humerick - Teacher

Lisa Humerick joined the staff of Century Nursery School in 2008.  She has experience working with a wide variety of youth groups and children of all ages.  Lisa holds an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts and has a Child Development Associate.
